Becketts hotel is a 3-star property located on the outskirts of Dublin city which was the home of the famous Irish writer Samuel Becketts' mother.

Originally called Cooldrinagh, the house has been described as '…a grand house, almost a mansion, dating from 1760 with imposing pillars at the front door, a flight of stone steps and a cast iron balustrade…' his Country house has been fully restored maintaining many or its original features. It boasts 10 guestrooms beautifully designed including double, single, twin and suite.

Guests can dine at the Becketts Restaurant, with three modern conservatories, adding space and style to the guest dining experience, serving international and Irish cuisine.Beckettts hotel has three luxury suites ready for business events fully equipped and now featuring wireless Internet access.We are in Leixlip in County Kildare - a quick spin out from Dublin (approximately 18kms or 11 miles).

Situated on the outskirts of Leixlip, we are a minute's drive off the M4 Motorway. Take the exit for Leixlip shortly after passing Lucan, turn right at the top of the off-ramp (signposted for Leixlip). Go over the motorway bridge and turn left at the roundabout. Continue on this road for a quarter of a mile, and turn left into Cooldrinagh.
