Portobello Hotel is a modern Dublin hotel offering comfortable accommodation, good food and an exciting entertainment emporium. In 2006 the premises was bought by it's current owner, Mr Richard McDermott who has recently redecorated the premises. This Irish hotel enjoys an absolutely convenient location in Dublin; it overlooks the Grand Canal in Dublin City Centre and is only minutes walk from Stephens Green and Grafton Street. Portobello hotel is a famous meeting place in Dublin, to enjoy traditional Irish hospitality, good food and entertainment. With its distinct styling and integration of modern and new, the Portobello provides a relaxed atmosphere for any Dublin visitor. As well as a traditional Irish pub, the Portobello Hotel houses a separate nightclub, Temptation, which hosts Hawaiian parties and School Disco theme nights.

Transport from the Airport:
There are several buses to the City Centre. There is the city bus which is the 16A. If you are taking this route please ask the driver to let you off at Kelly’s Corner/Harrington Street. On leaving the bus walk back down the street to the large junction. Turn right and you will be on South Richmond Street. The hotel is located at the top of the street on the left hand side.
Other Buses are the 747 : terminates at Bus Aras(Central Bus Station)
Aircoach: from Dublin airport to Ballsbridge.(disembark on Leeson Street for the Portobello)
